Well, we’ve just unpacked from the show in Cincinnati. Two-weekends from now, we’ll be in Archbold, OH for the Sauder Village Woodcarving Show. That’ll be a bittersweet show for us for several reasons; our good friend, Jan Nofziger, Special Events Coordinator for Sauder Village, is retiring as of Dec. 1oth. She’s a “big” reason we love that show so much. The second reason for our blue mood, is that we’ve decided that this will be our last exhibition at this show. We’ve decided to cut-back on our more remote trips to shows and the “over-nighters”! June’s just celebrated her  birthday and just yesterday, informed her boss that she’ll finally retire after more than 20 years with the company. Their loss is our gain! She’ll miss her friends and working very much. Two weeks following the Sauder Village Show is our last show of the year in Dayton, OH’s “Artistry-in-Wood”. Although, our final scheduled 2009 Saturday Morning Class has passed, we are continuing to offer our (free) Thursday Carve-Ins through Dec. 17th. Following that date, we consider ourselves free to commence our “Winter Sabatical”. Remember, we always enjoy hearing from all of you. Best wishes to you until we see each other next year. We always “Kick-Off” our Carving Year at the Middletown Woodcarving Show, the first weekend of each year and, our Spring Classes commence the week following that Show. If you are on our mailing list, you can expect our E-Mail announcing our first class around the second week of February, 2010. Nuff said!

Happy birding and carving, Bill
