We’re off and running! The MVWA Show in Middletown, OH. “always” has an excellent Show and Carver’s Banquet. This year was no exception. The crowd-traffic was consistently brisk and many of our old carving friends were there. We were happy to sell a bird and plan to return next year; the Lord willing. We added a few prospective students to our sign-up list and that’s how we initially meet most of our future students. Our Spring Class

2012 Middletown Show

is pushed back about a month until April 21st. Normally, it would be the second Saturday of March. I’m tired of the weather literally “dumping” on us each year; so, I’m hedging my bets and starting later.  I’ve heard the word from the “Paint Dept.” that I’ll get over this lazy spell and carve more birds this year than I have recently. Can’t wait to see how that turns out.

I hope that all of you carver’s, old and new, have a great carving year. Keep safe.

Happy birding and carving,    Bill
