*More Signs of Spring

Well, I’ve just added another “Category” to this blog; “Miata”.  If you are also a “Miataphile” let me know.  If you don’t know what a Miata is, nevermind!  I purchased mine “Used” on May 1, 1997. It had actual mileage on that day of 65, 737.  Today, it has over 155,000 miles on it.  It’s a 1991 Red A- Model, which like “all”  Miatas, is a Convertible.

Some “Hard-core” Miataphiles also believe that “if your top isn’t down, that storm outside had better have a name!”.  This is my 3rd Red Sportscar and my 6th Convertible.  I guess this isn’t just another phase I’m going through!

In February, 1999, I joined the Miami Valley Miata Club.  June and I have participated in many social and road events and trips for the last 11 years with the club. The camaraderie and helpfulness of our members is second to none. What brought all of this to mind, was that I washed both of our vehicles yesterday and had to take mine on a nearby scenic  romp with the top-down (of course).  Thanks to the recent tune-up at our club’s Tech-Meister’s home-garage, it has never run better.

If you are also a Miataphile, check-out our club at:
